Face Coverings and
More Special Stop Orders for Meldreth
Face Coverings
Face coverings are no longer legally required on public transport, but Thameslink and Great Northern have asked us to make rail users aware that they are asking customers to be considerate and wear a face covering if they can whilst travelling.
If you are travelling onwards in London, face coverings must be worn for the full duration of journeys on the TfL network, including inside stations and bus stations, unless you are exempt.
More Special Stop Orders
From 27th January GTR will be adding in two more morning peak stops at Meldreth, heading to Cambridge – these are ‘Special Stop Orders’, arranged on an emergency basis during this period of reduced timetables brought about by workforce shortages, and specifically designed to accommodate children and young people heading to school and college in Cambridge.
07:12 Kings Cross to Ely, call additionally at Meldreth at circa 07:48
07:42 Kings Cross to Kings Lynn, call additionally at Meldreth at circa 08:18
We look forward to the restoration of the regular timetable as soon as the workforce builds back and allows.
