Please note the  planned road closures on Sunday 9 November 2025 for the Remembrance Day parade through the village. An application in this regard has been approved by Cambridgeshire County Council.

As in previous years, the High street will be closed from 10:30 to 11:30 from the village car park to The Cross to allow for the Parade. There will be a diversion in place via Norgetts Lane, Orchard Road and Mortlock Street. Traffic at The Cross will also be suspended for the Act of Remembrance at 11:00.

Melbourn Parish Council is inviting organisations, charities or groups in Melbourn to apply for Community Benefit Grants.

The deadline for applications is Monday 24 November 2025.
