Climate-Friendly Cook With Me delivered by South Cambs Zero Carbon Communities

South Cambs Zero Carbon Communities are excited to host their first Climate-Friendly Cook With Me, an interactive online cooking event on Friday 10 May 2024, 7:30-9:00pm.

Join them for a presentation from Let’s Cook Project on their work around avoidable food waste, followed by a live cooking demonstration from Cllr Shrobona Bhattacharya, district councillor for Cambourne. Shrobona will be sharing how to assemble a traditional Indian thali – a plate of naturally plant-based dishes.

You’re welcome to cook along , or just sit back and enjoy the event!

EXTENDED DEADLINE: Invitation to tender for Grounds Maintenance Contracts

Please note the extended deadline of 30 April 2024

We are inviting tenders in relation to continuing grounds maintenance works across the village in South Cambridgeshire.

Tenders must be submitted using the tender documents provided (either digitally or by hand). Other forms of pricing will not be considered.

Please submit the tender in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the relevant reference number and send it to the Parish Clerk at Melbourn Community Hub, 30 High Street, Melbourn, SG8 6DZ on or before 4pm on Tuesday, 30 April 2024.

Please note that the Parish Council is not obliged to accept the lowest tender.

LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the tenderer to study the specification and requirements before submitting the tender.
