Marking the occasion…

Melbourn Parish Council join those across the country and beyond in celebrating the coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty the Queen Consort – pupils at the Primary School and Village College have been gifted a commemorative bookmark as a memento of the occasion.

Hub Coronation Event Road Closure Reminder

On Sunday 7th May, the High Street will be closed from the village car park to Meadow Way, the closure will be in place between 10am and 6pm.  The traffic lights will remain in operation and there will still be access to the car park, Kays Close and Meadow Way, but Brooksbank will be in the restricted area.

Community Benefit Grants

Melbourn Parish Council is inviting organisations, charities or groups in Melbourn to apply for Community Benefit Grants. The deadline for applications is Monday 24 April 2023.

Please note, unlike previous years, the meeting where decisions on grants are made will be separate to the monthly Parish Council Meeting. There meeting will be an additional Parish Council meeting held on Wednesday 3 May 2023 at 7:30pm, where the grant applications will be considered by council.
